Frequently Asked Questions

I just want to watch the playoffs (of any league)? Can I sign up for streaming TV for a month or two?

Yes, and that's a pretty common thing these days. In fact, a lot of streaming providers have recently begun to advertise plans suited for short-term use (e.g., to cover playoffs or a seasonal tournament). They're generally less-expensive (have fewer total channels) but, of course, include all the channels that broadcast your event.

If my event is over, can I cancel a streaming plan mid-month and get a refund?

Generally, no. Most streaming providers don't offer partial refunds in the middle of a billing cycle. That said, if your plan just renewed (within a few days) and you no longer need it, some providers offer a short grace period right after payment where they'll cancel your subscription and process a refund. You'll have to get in touch with customer service and put in a request.
